“The Tripster” born as Princewill Adams is a 23-year-old Nigerian creative from Kogi state.
He takes on the character of the shapeshifter based on his versatility and ability to take on different skills and talents at the same time but he is primarily a filmmaker/cinematographer. Trip started his cinematography career In the year 2018 and since then he never backed down he has since gained popularity and traction as one of the leading filmmakers in Abuja.
As an eccentric shapeshifter, He shifts between fashion, music, photography, videography, fine arts, and modeling seamlessly.
Where do you draw your inspiration?
Iron sharpens iron, a popular saying, which is why I like to surround myself with like minds and creatives moving on the same frequency as myself to keep the energy clear as he gets his inspiration from the people closest to me. When it comes to role models, I like to consider myself as my own role model that is because I’ve done the most compared to what I only imagined as a child.
Collaborations you would love to make happen?
Before working with TG Omori, Boy Director was the person I always wanted to work with, I’m eager and excited to express my creativity and collaborate with brands like Nike
Some Challenges you faced in your journey?
Starting out my career, I didn’t have access to so much quality equipment, I started off with my Samsung galaxy s6 edge to take pictures and shoot videos and also edit with the same phone back in 2018. Another challenge coming up as one of the youngest filmmakers in Abuja was being looked down on by older colleagues as in their point of view, I was inexperienced which of course I later got to prove them wrong.
I’ve worked with a couple of Abuja music heavyweights like Odumodublvck, Psycho Yp, Detailmadeit, Reeplay, etc. Although he is popular in Abuja, he would still love to expand his coast and work in bigger spaces outside Abuja, Nigeria, working with the renowned TG Omori he has set his pathway to becoming one of Nigeria’s most eccentric creatives, creating eccentric visuals that go far beyond the normalities of his culture and traditions.
