Lone Tree is a rock/indie band with a blend of afro psychedelic sounds, based in Nairobi Kenya, the band is made of five members; Teresa Sanders (lead vocals), Patrick Sanders (lead guitar, vocals), Ben Matsaert (bass, keyboard), Gabe Gebremedhin (drums, vocals), and Silas Piper (rhythm/slide guitar, vocals).
Their recent album ‘Refuge’ has seen the band evolve into a frontier for blending contemporary, rock, blues funk, and reggae music. Although based in Kenya, the band has garnered fans from their home countries as well, including North America, Bolivia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Europe. Living in over 10 countries and speaking over 6 languages.
Their latest single ‘Woman’ delivers the perfect ambiance for a passionate crowd-thumping indie anthem, layered with soft vocals and hypnotic acoustic guitar melodies.
